Hi I started overclocking a month ago.
My computer kind of randomly, mostly just after booting shuts down and then gives me the previous overlock has failed message.
Now also on stock speed.

This may because your O.C. settings are to high or to low (voltages). As a system ages these settings may need to be adjusted for stability. In any case you should start back at the defaults and reset your O.C. How did you stress test the system; what settings did you use and did you do incremental adjustments with stressing to get to your final setting. Also if you just took someones settings for your own, be aware all samples of a given cpu vary. It is always best to arrive at your system settings with incremental steps and testing.

What cpu cooler are you using? Here is a guide to O.C. (http://www.anandtech.com/show/8227/devils-canyon-review-intel-core-i7-4790k-and-i5-4690k/2. If you are not prepared to take the time and put in the effort do not O.C. GL

Agreed, there is no easy auto mode OC that works good. You have to take the time and do it manually.
