Is my CPU (Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHZ) bottle necking my GPU (Zotac GTX 950 AMP) in GTA V. My maximum screen resolution is 1024x768 and i am running gta v on 1024x768 as well and at that resolution My CPU usage is between 80%-99% while my GPU Usage is 23%-43%. At 1024x768 resolution at normal i get 43lowest to 70higest averaging arroung 45-52 fps and at 1024x768 i get 36lowest and 70Higest nad averaging around 45-53. Plz tell me is it because of my cpu bottle necking my gpu

Zotac GTX 950 AMP and Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition 3.2GHZ and 8GB DDR3 1333MHZ Ram.

i don't think you CPU is a bottelneck. But you can turn down render distance and population with are CPU intensive. And you can OC the CPU a bit.

And try to reinstall your gpu drivers, this may help.

I know for a fact the CPU is the bottleneck.
The GTX 950 performs on par, if not slightly ahead of the 760. My 760 was bottleneck by my own 965 until I managed to hit 4GHz.
Given the 955 is worse, and the GTX 950 is a better card. Its pretty straightforward.

That CPU is definitely bottlenecking
