Exactly what the title says, does anyone know of any cheap SLI Cards that'll run most modern day games on ultra with great FPS im on a budget so im looking too waste at most 150$, so 100-150$ and once told please tell me the amount of wattage i will need to run it perfectly.
This is my current build:
CPU:AMD FX-8320
GFX Card: AMD Radeon HD 6850
RAM: 12GB
Hard Drive: 1TB
Motherboard: MSI 970

Long story short, you will not find a cheap single $50-$75 video card that can be connected in SLI (or Crossfire for AMD). Low end graphics cards do not have that capability. And if you want to play games on ultra with great FPS, you will need to pony up a heck of a lot more than $150. Sorry...that's just reality.

used to be you could get twin 560 Tis for example and crush your buddy's 580 while spending $100 less than he did. nVidia saw that the they were losing lotsa cash because of this so SLI performance at the lower end has been shall we say "curtailed".

Notice that the single 970 is ranked faster than the two 960s overall, tho in many games the 960s are faster

The 970s performance has been curtailed noticeably as thermal throttling kicks in at 80C when the max temp is 18 higher at 98C ... whereas the 980 Ti throttles at 85C and has a max temp just 7 higher at 92C. NVidias problem, if you can call it that, is that the mid level cards perform too close to their top dollar ones.
