Hi everyone. I'm planning to buy a dell p2415q 4k monitor so I have a few question about it. If I play a 1080p movie or gaming at 1080p resolution on this monitor will I get the same quality as watching/playing it on 1080p display? Or will it look worse? thanks in advance :D

It'll look just fine, the pixels will simply be doubled (well, that's a simple way of putting it). Running at native 4K typically makes things unreadable at a 1:1 ratio (unless you have 20/10 vision, maybe). For example, the MBP Retina display uses the same mechanic (i.e., instead of 2880x1800 native, it uses pixel doubling for 1440x900). In reality, everything depends on the processing and rendering algorithms utilized.

sorry but I don't get your point. Can you explain it in simple way. sorry because my english is kinda bad. so if I have 1080p & 4k monitor which has the same screen size lets say 24 inch, if I play 1080p video at full screen the video quality will look the same on both monitor?

If you have a 1080p monitor run some lower resolution videos and this will give you an idea of how 1080p will look at 4k.
