Hello I have the oneplus one and I have been loving it. I recently decided to put CM12 on it. I was able to load that on and get it working. All well and good, but I hate the CM12 and want to go back to CM11, I tried using the CM11 files to go back, but there is a certificate error when it tries to install CM11. I cleared my data and I am backed up. Can anyone help me?

How can you hate CM 12.1? It's amazing! Anyway, I'm not an OnePlus One owner but I can still help you. You need a custom recovery. Search on Google on how to flash TWRP (Team Win Recovery) on your phone. Then you have to download the flashable CM 11 Zip.

You have to download one the signed flashable zips.
Put the Zip on you phone
Enter recovery
Do a wipe
Flash
Enjoy!
Note that you lose OTA updates when you flash a custom recovery, but OnePlus usually upload their flashable zips of the newest version

I will try these and get back to you. I hate the new status bar and I lost some of the settings in the menu that were there with CM11 (performance could change CPU clock in settings and a few other things gone). CM12 also heats the phone hotter then a frying pan when it does big data transfers and such. Battery life feels the same and the vibrator isn't any stronger (see Oneplus one Vibration issues).
