I7 4790K 4.7Ghz temps
Ok so I recently got a I7 4790K and decided to overclock it I am currently sitting at 4.7ghz with a voltage of 1.175 Fully stable however when I run prime95 26.6 my temps are in the mid 70s I am using a H100i gtx for cooling it while gaming (Battlefield 4, Black ops 3 beta) My temps are in the mid 50s so I want to know are these good temps or should they be lower. Thanks
Hi! Just to give you some reassurance, I also have a 4790k and it does 4.7ghz at 1.18v. It looks like we both hit the silicon lottery! My temps using realbench get to about 65 in a room that is 20ish c. I'm curious though, have you pushed yours further? At 1.29v I can do 4.9ghz totally stable but the temps are nasty, mid to high 70s average when stress testing. What sort of temps do you get at those voltages?
