Will the new Xbox one controller be released in a PC version?

Hi everyone,
Microsoft released a updated Xbox one controller with a headphone jack and better bumpers, along with a few other additions. I was wondering if they would ever release that controler in a 'Windows version' for PC gaming. Now, I know that all the windows version adds is a micro usb cord, and I could just buy a Regular wireless Xbox controller and put my own cord from it to the PC, but I'd rather the product include everything I need. I don't want to go out and buy a new cord for it. So does anyone here have any info for me?

i bought a normal xbox one wired controller and use it on my pc no problems. win 10 even has the driver for it built in but it is on MS site for other os's.

if you want it wired there is no reason to buy a wireless one and then connect it with a cable. the wired ones are cheaper and the cord is plenty long enough at 9'

i don't think you need to wait for an "official" pc version. i am not even sure this is even a thing ??

my bad i missed that part of it :(

i have seen these controllers but do not own one myself yet. don't believe i have seen a wired one of those but then i was not exactly looking very closely. of course i have no idea what MS plans on releasing and have not read anything about a wired version of the new controller. i assume it will be released but that assumption and $1 will get you most of a dr pepper :)

i was just reading about the newest one that has floppy paddles and such as well. looks pretty cool but not for $160 i think it was supposed to cost. if i happen to read anything i can come back and update but for now i guess all i can say is "not that i know of right now"
