what is the air flow situation? have you tried setting a fan profile with something like MSI afterburner?

What is getting hot, the CPU or GPU ?

What constitutes "mad hot" ? and what are you using to measure it ?

1. Download and install HWiNFO64 (assuming 64 bit OS, otherwise use 32 bit version) .

2. Run HWiNFO and hit "Sensors Only" button.

3. Start Crysis and play for 30 minutes.

4. Report back with CPU maximum (next to last column) temps for:

CPU Cores
GPU Temp
GPU VRM Temp

The max allowable temperature for the GTX 770 GPU is 98C
