Hey there I'm currently in search of a new graphics card the current one I have is a Radeon R7 240 and the card I am looking at to upgrade is a NVIDIA Asus GTX 750Ti 2gb or a EVGA one and I was just wondering what I should be looking into such as a new power supply if needed or a new mother board etc. My current motherboard is an MSI Socket AM3+/760GM-P34 (FX) and I have a 500Watt Power supply. Any recommendations help, thank you!

if you have a decent 500w then a gtx 960 would be a great upgrade.

post back with make and model of your power supply.

if you dont know it, you will need to open the case and look, the psu should have a sticker on it with the information

If you're going to a 750ti your current power supply should suffice.

If there are quality issues with your current one you might opt for a new one from a respected brand with 80+ certificate. But if it's a decent brand and has no issues the 500W is definitely enough for the 750ti

it is a good unit, but it has cheap capacitors which would reduce its life in a gaming system.

if however you dont intend to upgrade further and just want a 750 ti then yes it would be good enough
