So about a week ago My pic would turn on. And fans would spin and everything would look like it working but I never had a mobo speaker so today I made one with an old speaker and I got four short beeps and my mobo is asrock h97 pro4
cpu is i5 something 3.2ghz
2x4gb ram
Gtx 750ti
And evga 430
I am looking for a cheap fix but if I need to replace something it would be ok

Solution
4 beeps is a system timer failure

Can be caused by (although not exclusively)
-New hardware conflicting with old hardware.
-Bad or failing hardware device.
-Connections not connected or connected properly.
-Recent electrical storm that caused a surge that damaged computer.
-Other hardware issue.

Cheapest possibility is checking if all your connections are solid.
Could also be a memory stick, try each individually.

Next step is checking if the warranty is still on your mobo (h97s haven't been around that long)
