CPU with high temperature while running some games

Hello. Yesterday I received my motherboard I had bought. It works fine, but I think CPU is getting so hot with some games. Temp at idle is between 34-43ºC. Playing Tomb Raider on High, it gets 52-56ºC, but with Bioshock Infinite, also on high it got 63ºC!
If I'm not wrong, the maximum of my cpu is 55-62ºC.
PS: The motherboard ATX_12 notch is 8-pin, but my power supply only has 4 pins. But, as far as I know, these 8 pins are necessary if I do overclock. Am I right?

I'm afraid it can cause me problems.

My specs:

AMD Phenom II X6 1055T 2,8 Ghz
4GB DDR3 RAM
Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3
2TB HD
AMD Radeon 240 1GB GDDR5
PS: 550W

Need your help, guys! Thanks in advance!

That max tmp is what is generally listed for that CPU, yes. But it can go warmer w/o damage. That is about as expected if it has the stock cooler running a CPU demanding title. But only on occasional peaks. It should not hover at that temp for long periods.
If you're sure you installed the thermal paste and cooler properly, you may want to check that there is plenty of air flow and that cable management isn't blocking any of that airflow.
