Hi folks...
Since I built my first Fido Net dial up BBS (the High Speed light would come on if someone connected at 1,200 baud) in the late 1980s, I have always used PC Power and Cooling power supplies. Now I find that they have been bought and then bough again. Reading the PC Power and Cooling Wiki, I have the impression that they are not as good as they were in the past.
I have never looked into other vendors, so I am quite lost now. I have a full sized ATA case, full sized ATA motherboard and I am running two Nvidia GeForce GTX 980 Ti video cards. Two blu-ray burners and some solid state drives, maybe one mechanical drive. I am thinking I need a minimum of 850 watts?
Can some one post maybe the top 3 or 4 power supplies around?
I feel so clueless now. They were a good company back in the day. I am sorry they were bought up and the quality has gone down.
Thanks in advance.
