Hi guys,

So I wanted to install a new Operating System (Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit from Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit) as I had just installed 8GB of RAM from 4GB, and I wanted to have a clean installation, which means installing from the CD on startup. The problem was that my monitor received no signal until the welcome screen. For the past months it has been like that, however I never bothered as I never needed it until now. Anyway, I tried to tackle that problem first by reseting the CMOS and removing the battery from the motherboard, however that did not work. I tried three different monitors, with three different cables (HDMI, DVI & VGA), however neither worked either. I also tried entering BIOS whilst the screen was black which I did, however the monitor was still displaying the message 'No Signal' and from blue the led turned into orange.

Well after a while I just tried to install the new OS from the desktop, which was going great until the computer required a restart due to the installation, and from then on the monitor has been displaying the message 'No Signal' constantly. Everything else works, so I'm really confused on where the problem actually lies. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :)
