how do i install windows 7 on my laptop(came with windows 8.1)

this is not really recommended as you can run into all sorts of issues.are you doing this because you dont like the metro interface on win8.if so you can install a third party start button like start menu 8 from iobit.makes it look pretty much like win7.have you thought of waiting and upgrading to win10.give us the reasons for this decision so we can better help you.

My son did the same.... if both 7 and 8 were purchase options all drivers should be available. They may even let you switch, worth a call. If not, you will have to buy one.
if this is a new laptop and you are having these problems,this is the time to take advantage of the warranty,assuming you didnt make any performance or programming mods.win8 works great right out of the box so i think there is another reason for your problems other than a bad os.i would ship it back for warranty.
