Looking at freesync GPUs, what's the most i reasonably need? Monitor is a 29UM67 - 2560 x 1080 75hz

So here's my setup

LG 29UM67, its a 29 inch 2560 x 1080 monitor with freesync and up to 75hz (though some sites say 60hz, that's another question)
Pentium i7-4770k (not currently overclocked, but it does have a kraken water cooler, so I could)
8 GB of DDR2 1866
600W thermaltake TR2 gold psu

I actually got the monitor because it's great for working on content that requires a lot of editing space, like coding and maya. The freesync one actually was on sale for less than any non-freesync one that size anyway.

Here are the cards listed as supporting freesync:
R9 295X2, 290X, R9 290, R9 285, R7 260X and R7 260

I'm pretty sure the 390 and 390x support it too. Does AMD have an up to date list?

I occasionally see a good sale on the 295x2, but I'm seeing that even though this is a powerful card, it is probably overkill for one monitor that isn't 4k. So what would fully use this processor and monitor? I'm thinking the 390x looks like a good bet. I have no problems with getting a used or refurb card if it's an older model that fits the bill. All my other components are open box or refurb anyway. I'm asking because I was thinking the 290x sounded good, and then I stumbled upon the 390x being compatible too, meaning the list is not exhaustive, and there may be other options I don't know about.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
