After buying a new hard drive and cloning it, blue screens kept occurring even after cloning so someone recommenced that I fresh installed Windows 7.

Couldn't on my main set-up, reinstalled using a old pc. Boots up fine on old pc but doesn't go past Windows Loading screen on main set-up.

Guessing it's a motherboard or processor issue

Anyways..

As you can see, my motherboard and processor is really old so I need some help on what to buy

I want an LGA1150 socket if possible

Budget:$300 total

You can't just install Windows on another computer and move the hard drive to a new one and expect it to work. That Windows is tied to that other computer's specific hardware, and will not just work so easily, especially going to another computer with a completely different motherboard.

Also, why could you not reinstall Windows on your main setup?

My screen looked like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zM_ePgOR4wo&list=WL&index=14

I don't know what CD I have either because I bought this pc from someone and it came with a Staples CD with "Windows 7 x64 Install" written on it which I used in the old pc to reinstall Windows

Honestly I'm not sure from here forth, I was hoping someone else would pop in and provide input.
