Hello all,

I currently have a 1TB HDD which is logically parted to 2 500gbs
I have a lot of games worth 300+GB and media stuff worth 300+GB and I would like to add an SSD.
Will I be able to add an SSD boot drive without formatting? Will I be able to run any of my games and apps like it was nothing? How can I delete the OS on the HDD if I were to add the SSD?
I am a bit worried on how it will work. I dont want to redownload 300GB worth of my games because I have a mere 1.5Mpbs (180/kbps speed) and I am stuck here with Philippine ISP plans.

Could someone guide me through this?

Yes you will be able to add an ssd without formatting your hard drive.
It would run like nothing really happened, you would just need to pull some shortcuts onto your desktop of something.
I wouldn't recommend deleting the OS on the hard drive, as it could lead to some corrupted or missing files, etc. And also, if your ssd fails before your hard drive, it will just boot onto there.

There are many guides on adding a new ssd online, and would highly suggest looking it up.

depends on how big the ssd is. My advice, buy a second hdd drive. Something big, but cheap 2tb for 100 bucks. Transfer all your music/videos/games onto it. Have the ssd as the new boot drive move over whatever games you like, and use the old 1tb hdd as an extra drive or something dedicated to something, but seeing as that may not be possible.

Unplug the old 1tb hdd, plug in the new ssd install the o.s. to it. Change the boot order in the bios plug the old hdd in. You should still have all your data on your old hard drive.
