Hi, I've just bought ASROCK H81 PRO BTC Motherboard that supports upto 1600MHZ freq for RAM, Intel G3258 Dual Core Processor and Kingston HyperX 8GB DDR3 1866MHZ RAM Powered by Corsair 650W PSU.
When I booted the system for first time after assembling, I found the BIOS version to be 1.30 (whereas the latest was 2.10) and there are lot of options under OverClocking Tab making it confusing for me to which settings should I mess with. I tried with both CPU & RAM (extended their values) but none of them worked. RAM Column shows DDR3-1400 freq. at the most, while I was expecting 1600 freq.

Could you please provide me with best settings for getting the best out of my Processor and Motherboard. I'm using Seagate 2TB SSHD as my primary HDD.
Thanks

If you dont know what you are doing I suggest you leave things alone for now until you become more informed. Reset your bios to default values and then change the memory to use XMP instead of SPD (default) timings. That should get you the 1866 speed. The ram sticks have the rest of the timing values built in and the bios will read them and set the values accordingly.
