I have a Sabertooth z97 Mark 1 motherboard updated to latest BIOS, with the energy saving option on (erp5?) enabled in bios, and weirdly enough, all my other USB peripherals switch off and stay off when the system is shut down, except from my lovely LED lights.

If one of you angels out in this universe could help me solve this issue and make my LED lights shut down as the PC does, once and for all, that would be amazing.

What is happening is the motherboard is supplying power to peripherals, so for example you could plug your phone in and charge while the system is off. I don't know of a fix, I ended up having to unplug peripherals I didn't want lighting up while the PC was off! (I have a Gigabyte motherboard)

That really sucks man :(
Wish they'd make it as convenient as selecting a setting and if that was the end of it. Thanks for the comment though.

I want to say there IS a setting, but I would have to go back and look through my stuff to see what I could find. It's nice like Mattios said for phone charging etc, but I remember thinking the same thing when I was building mine.
