Hi, I previously installed Cooler Master 212x on a new H97-Pro Gamer 1150 mobo. CPU temps were fine during 2 days of use but I've just gotten a memory_management BSOD. I ran memtest on dual channel 2x4GB and there was already 300 errors on 1 pass. The DIMMS are also new.

Update: I ran memtest on only 1 DIMM on slots B2 then A2 no errors. Also ran large FFTs and Blend for 30 mins no errors. CPU temp was max 68C.
The other stick immediate memtest errors on all 3 DIMM slots. Could it be a faulty stick (I was able to install Windows and system was fine till heavy load) or is it my 212 cooler problem?

I'm worried that I could've overtightened the 212 on a corner cos according to some threads here it will affect the CPU's memory controller.

It's my first build and I dont have any Iso Alchohol atm so could I loosen the screws and retighten it again?

I did follow guides on how to install the cooler and made sure to tighten star pattern only till it bottomed out. One thing though is I had to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the X bracket to screw in leveled (it seesaws on one end when I had opposite side slightly screwed in) :( I've also loosen the middle screw when installing, is it normal to have to press down to screw in both sides??
