Does this look okay to use? One of the top gold circle things looks grey and it looks like the sides are crushed/dented

the image only show (maybe) a little dent on the heatspreaders, the chip itself is underneath like

based on that image I see no problem, but there's so much that could be wrong that you can't see.

Well he said it was guaranteed working.. but how does the side of the cpu become dented like that?

well its used and sold as is - thing is you don't know nothing but what you see it maybe a champ it maybe a dud - I don't know what kind of answer your looking for on that?/

I don't see anything wrong with it. With Intel CPUs it's nearly impossible to damage the CPU unless you did something really stupid, but that doesn't look like it was damaged to me.

Yeah it's ebay so i figure i could return it if i was screwed over. He only has 213 ratings.. all positive but hes selling some processors by bulk so I'm assuming he works for a tech company of sorts. For example on one of his listings he's selling 17 e7200 and e7600 together all at once and all his listings are processors.

alright thanks everyone.. that pic makes me feel alot better about the dents. I guess i have to try it to know if it works
