I reset my laptop to factory settings without backing anything up! HELP? Windows 8

SO.... Like a dork I downloaded AVG to delete a virus off my laptop and didn't read what it was asking me and I reset my computer to factory settings... I then went to my one time recovery but my last back up was in 2013 and I have lost important things since then!!
would there be a way to recover everything I had on my desktop from 2013 to 2015??
I have tried watching youtube videos and downloading random recovery software but nothing seems to help!
Is there anyone that can help me??
I have a Lenovo G580 with windows 8!

Yep, try using Easeus Data Recovery Wizard. On my computer it was able to recover files from 7 years back

It does the scan but when it finds deleted things it says package? and it has a white file behind and when I click on it, it won't let me open anything??

I believe there will be checkboxes on the left lane of the program once the scan is finished. Right click on the file you want to recover and select "recover"

THISISKIRSTYGRACIE :

you need to make sure that drive does not write anything.

if you can , open your notebook and take it out and install another harddrive. to make sure it does not write anything while booting and etc , the more it writes the more files you will loose.

if you need the data badly you should take out that harddisk ASAP and never use it. and then put it into USB3 external harddisk case and recover data from ANOTHER harddisk.
