Hello everyone, I currently have a computer that i am looking to upgrade the GPU on. I currently have a Radeon HD 5770 graphics card which works well enough but I wish to have a little more power. I've been looking at the R7 and they don't seem like a tremendous upgrade. I am not looking to run a 4k monitor at crazy FPS, just simply a card that can handle 1080p without issues. Any suggestions would be great, If it helps my PSU is 550 and i have an intel i5 quad core at 2.7g. Not sure of the motherboard I have but I can find out if needed. Budget would be ideally around 150 since I have a new born and he eats my money.

got a brand on that power supply? not all power supplies are created equal. you could get an R9 270, which would be the most power draw your PSU can handle if it is of a decent brand, you you could get a GTX 750ti, which is always a good mid end card.

a 4GB 750ti is a gimmick, the card cannot really use more than 2GB. perhaps a 2.5 GB card would make sense, but the 4GB one is just extra money spent for no reason. if they aer about the same price then I guess it could en worthwhile, but any more than a $10 price gap and I would pass.

Thanks for the suggestion, I picked up a 750 TI today and installed it. After a few hiccups at first everything is working great and was well worth the upgrade, thank you again
