No Signed Drivers were found for Windows 8.1 install

I am installing Windows 8.1 on an Acer motherboard with a new hard drive. I click Custom Install and am given an error saying there were no signed drivers found and to make sure that the installation media has the correct drivers. Please help!

Hey there, BobsJobs!

Check your motherboard manufacturer's website for the SATA controller/chipset drivers at least. (If you have your SATA ports enabled in RAID mode, you'd need the RAID controller drivers too) I believe once you have those installed, you shouldn't face this error.
