My daughter gave me her old laptop because she had a virus. A friend took out my windows 7 & put Linux. Now he has moved out of state. I am grateful he fix my computer no charge but I dont care for Linux. I prefer windows 7 back on.
If the original Factory Recovery partition is still intact, turn on the laptop and wait for the Acer logo splash screen to appear. At that point, press Alt + F10 keys at same time and hold until Acer eRecovery screen appears.
Note: Factory Recovery will overwrite the C drive so be sure to copy any important files to another location.
