Ok so I already have a case and motherboard:

Case: cooler master n200 mini atx tower

Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-H97M-D3H lga 1150

And I would like to: play mine craft in shaders with optifine at 8-25 render distance and keeping a stable 60fps.

Play YouTube videos at 1080p60fps.

I would also like both a hard drive and ssd, preferably 250gb for the ssd. Also I want to be sure that the storage and gpu will be able to fit together. So don't include the motherboard and case since I have those already, thanks :)

^ Good build. He already has the Cooler Master N200 case so he won't need the R5. Maybe this way he can improve his build with an aftermarket CPU cooler for more silent and cooler operation and maybe an ever better power supply with more warranty.

Honestly you don't need a GTX 970.
I am guessing you play at 1080p?
Is 900$ what you're looking to spend or your MAX budget (and would like it lower if possible?)
Get an R9 380, that is perfect for 1080p gaming and you save ~100$.

Do you only play minecraft?

I mainly play mine craft but I do plan on purchasing some steam games such as gta v and gmod, and I do play tf2.Also the $900 budget excludes the case and mobo. However if the parts can accomplish everything listed and cost much less, then that's fine also :)

is the GTX 970 going to fit along with the ssd and harddrive on the motherboard?

For the i5-4690k you need a Z97 motherboard. The one you have now doesn't support overclocking so there is no point going with the 4690k. You can save a couple of dollars by switching the E3-1241 for the E3-1231.

The N200 will fit any GTX 970, HDD and micro-ATX motherboard.

I'll do a build aswell for clarification.
