Don't tell me to go read another post cause I read a lot and didn't get a fix yet.
I bought a Genius GX gaming 5.1 surround sound speaker system.
I plugged everything in behind my subwoofer using the manual as a guide.
Then I put the connection in behind my PC (motherboard MSI gaming 3)
CS (subwoofer and center), RS (rear speakers) & Line in (front speakers).
Then I went to sounds>playback>speakers (Realtak HD audio)>right click>configure speakers>audio channel 5.1 surround sound> test and they all played the sound indicating that they are in fact working>next>next>finish.
After I went to YouTube and played a sound and only audio is from the Line In (front speakers). The rest of speakers are off. I proceed to test it with a sound on my PC and same result.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing or what to try?
