When I first put this BH10LS30 (that's the LG model) optical drive into my Lenovo rig, both Windows XP and Windows 7 recognized the drive, but when I upgraded my Windows 7 partitioned drive to Windows 10, that new OS won't recognize my LG Blu-ray writer and it's not even mentioned in the Device Manager. I tried troubleshooting and tried searching the hardware and they both don't help. What should I do?

Well you could try re-installing drivers. Also lg might not have released drivers for your blu-writer for win10 yet.
