This is my second try at building this %^*&^% computer. I was in here the first time and you were helpful, but it wasn't over.

The first time:
I recently replaced my motherboard, video card, and cpu. Originally when I started up I tried to load my drivers and setup my bios but I couldn't because I got blue screen of death and memory management error. I replaced the memory and was able to run for up to 4 hours sometimes but others only 5 minutes then it would freeze up.

So:
After talking to ASUS. I sent the motherboard back to be repaired or replaced. They sent it back to me today, I don't know if it is a new one or a refurbished one they told me nothing. Anyways, I put it in and now when I turn on the power, fans come on, lights come on, monitors say no signal, no beeps, nothing happens.

I have one monitor going into video card as HDMI, the other monitor into video card also as Display Port.

The cpu led is blue. The motherboard has four little LEDs on right side that if lit the manual says there is a problem, it does not explain any further, but the cpu LED is lit up red.

The Q-code is "FF". What does the FF mean. I can think of a few words to put in there, but they don't help me, so... I looked at the manual but didn't understand it.

I took everything back out and checked the cpu under a magnifying glass and made sure all pins were straight. I double checked that I lined up the arrow in the corner of it and easily seated the cpu without any pressure needed. I reseated the graphics card and memory sticks and made sure all connections were secure. I still have nothing but lights and fans.
what is wrong? I've got everything plugged up that I had before.

Please help me.

I would greatly appreciate any help you could give me, I’m not a computer engineer and some terminology is just over my head but I’ve built five computers over the years (I’m 63) and have never had any problems. Before I purchased the upgraded parts I did check the motherboard manual and ask several sites including this one and Parts Picker to make sure there were no conflicts.

Solution

I think I fixed the problem. I had checked all connections on component side but happened to think that I didn't check on the power supply side. Found two plugs just sitting in connectors not pushed in all the way. Anyways started back up and everything works and has been running for 2 hours now. So hopefully that did it. I appreciate your time. Hopefully I won't have to be back at least for a while.
Thanks
