I want to put together a desktop. I am aiming to build a computer to play games flawlessly. I will be keeping my laptops for work and school but when it comes to gaming I will be relying on this machine in the future.
Will these parts work with each other? Do I have everything I need? And what else do I need?

I'm looking at these items:

Case:
NZXT PHANTOM ATX Full Tower Case, Black and Green, PHAN-002GR

Fan:
Noctua Premium Quality Quiet CPU Cooler for Intel LGA 2011,1156,1155,1150 and AMD AM2/AM2+/AM3/3+,FM1/2 Sockets NH-U9S

Motherboard:
ASUS Z170-DELUXE ATX DDR4 Motherboard

Processor:
Intel Boxed Core I7-6700K

Graphics Card:
MSI Computer Video Graphics Card GTX 980TI GAMING 6G

SSD:
Samsung 850 EVO 1 TB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E1T0B/AM)

RAM:
Crucial Ballistix Sport 16GB Kit (8GBx2) DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) DIMM 288-Pin Memory

Thermal Paste(?):
Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound

I think I am missing a Power Supply Unit...
The total comes out around $2100. But alas, I am not made out of cash nor do I own a tree that bears it.
By October 1st I can afford all my parts but I will be ordering them piece by piece (I can afford it now, but I prefer installments, don't like forking over too much at once).
If you have any suggestions or alternatives that lower the cost, all ideas are appreciated.
