Port Forwarding Through Apple Airport Extreme and Arris Surfboard SB6141

So, here is my dilemma.

I currently have Time Warner Cable and a TWC Home Phone/ Internet modem.
I also don't like paying their lease each month.
Consequently, I am buying my own internet modem. (I'll keep theirs for phone with no charge :))

I choose from their list an Arris Surfboard SB6141 modem (no wifi).
It has enough speed and is a good price.
Now for the problem I enjoy running personal servers, and the SB6141 doesn't have port forwarding options. The TWC Modem did. Also TWC does not allow PPPoE connections. I also use an Apple Airport Extreme 2013 model. Now, I know how to port forward on the airport, but how do I get around the issue of double NAT with the SB6141 not offering port forwarding options and TWC being a stick in the mud (as they like to be)?

I haven't found any solutions other than PPPoE or port forwarding through the modem, which obviously isn't an option. Am I stuck? Or do I need to buy a modem with wifi router capabilities to get port forwarding options, as I have not purchased the SB6141 yet.

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Sorry for any spelling/grammar mishaps I am writing this at midnight and I am very, very, VERY tired.

Not sure of the particular model Airport...

The SB6141 is a modem only device. There is no NAT involved and no port forwarding required. All port forwarding will be performed in the Airport.

So, I should have no issues if I just port forward through the Airport? Thanks for the quick reply as well .

Not sure of the particular model Airport you have, but I'm assuming your servers will be connected to it. The airport receives the public IP address from the SB6141, therefore only the Airport will be performing NAT. Yes, only port forward Airport.
