Burn .iso to dvd

I am downloading ubuntu 14.04 and want to run it parallel on a windows vista 64 bit machine. I have a 2.0ghz duel core intel laptop. How do I burn ubuntu on to a dvd?

It's been my choice in Windows for burning .iso files for quite a while.

Normally I would have just link'd their website, but it isn't the easiest to find the correct download button so I directly link'd the download.

you download the iso, then install something like imgburn

burn it onto a proper blank disk (cd or dvd media) in your cd/dvd drive that has the ability to do so ( if not you need to buy a cd/dvd burning capable drive).

Okay. Follow me here. First; usb is not what I want to do! Second: No win 7. Have Vista. ( Remember, I am a newbie and middle-aged at that). Last. figure out who had the best chance.
