Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of getting a new keyboard in a month, and wish to get a mechanical one. There are so many different cherry types and can't decide which one to get, so i was wondering if you guys could help me choose what type of Cherry colour to get, and possibly a keyboard suggestion under $80 that would be great. Thanks!

I am also spend a LOT of time gaming, and just a bit of time typing, so make sure the suggestions for the cherry types are gaming related! I also want the cherry type to be fairly silent as i have open back headphones and RGB, macros, and extra usb, etc sort of stuff dont matter to me. Although a wrist wrest and media keys would be nice.

I have mx blues, browns, and tried blacks. Currently, use keyboard w/ browns and for gaming (at least for me), it's the best. I like blues for typing, but the "clicky" sound is distracting in game. Blacks seem to require to much force for my liking when mashing keys for awile. Seems like fingers would get tired. Only other one I would try would be reds. Pretty happy w/ my current keyboard, DasKeyboard 4 Ultimate(brown MX). No lighting, a few media keys (pause, play, volume). Plus, it's a single cable with built in USB3 hub.
