Intel G3258...looking to build a SolidWorks system

EDIT: Made a change to what I want in the system. Instead of the FirePro W4100 which I wasn't really fond of from the beginning, I'm going with the Quadro K620. Also for the CPU, I'm not sure if I want the G3258 or if I should fork out more for something like the i5-4690K.

I'm a back to college student. I quit my full-time job to go back to school full-time. I have funds, but they do have limits. I'm looking to build a computer to run SolidWorks 2015 education edition and do some basic gaming (nothing new, probably STEAM games and maybe an older COD title or two).

The college I'm going to is selling some of their older desktops that have the following specs:
Reason Voyageur MT/ Micro-ATX case with 350W Power
Supply
Intel Core 2 Duo E7300 (2.66 Ghz) Dual Core Processor
4GB DDR2-800 SDRAM
16X DVD-RW
80GB SATA (7200rpm) hard drive
Windows Vista Home
Logitech 104 keyboard
Microsoft Optical Scroll Mouse
Samsung 19” monitor

I'm in the Precision Manufacturing Tech program so it's CNC Machining, but we are using CAD for some SolidWorks programming...nothing super intensive that would require an amazing processor or 32gigs or ram or a Quadro K2200+ graphics card. With that said, I would like to start with a few components that I can easily upgrade to those higher buck items down the road since I want to take the CAD program after I'm done with the current one.

My thoughts are using the following to upgrade the desktop that I bought from the school (I bought 2 of the desktops so that I have 2 19" monitors) and I'm selling the 2nd desktop for close to what I paid):

MSI Z97M-G43 motherboard
Intel G3258 processor OTHER OPTION IS AN i5-4690K
16GB 1600MHz Ram (G.Skill F3-1600C9D-16GXM most likely)
nVidia Quadro K620
Samsung Evo 850 250GB SSD
Windows 7 Pro

I'll use the 80gig HDD for extra storage and I have an external for storage as well.

The build price on this should be about $600-650. I could save a few bucks if I get a 120GB SSD instead.

The question about this. Will it be sufficient to run what I want? Very basic gaming or web browsing with multiple tabs open or basic SolidWorks rendering.

Also, does anyone see any issues with this setup (incompatible or otherwise)?

Lastly, I should be able to upgrade the processor to an i7-4790k, double the RAM, and upgrade the graphics card without any future issues, correct? Those upgrades wouldn't come for probaby a year.

Thanks in advance.
Mike

I'm looking at a Corsair CX500M.

I've also decided on a few changes for the build, the graphics card will be the Quadro K620 (originally wanted a Quadro but was thinking the Fire might be OK and have since decided against it).

The other possible change is the CPU itself. I was thinking of the G3258 for now and down the road going to something in the i7 range. I am debating on the G3258 and the i5-4690k now. This puts my budget above my limit, but if it would be considerably better, I will find a way to fork out the extra money.

yeah the i5-4690k is a great CPU but you sure you want to go with a cx series PSU? cuz every review ive heard about them has been negative some even by people I know, they say it is the only bad product corsair has made so......
you could get a evga supernova series for around the same price and better specs and quality.

Well I ordered the PS and Memory from Newegg an hour ago. I'll be ordering everything else from Amazon when I determine which CPU I'm going with. I've read mainly positive reviews, but there have been negatives mixed in. Biggest 2 issues I have seen is people having it louder than advertised and also a few had bad units right off the bat (dead within a few weeks)...and the hassle of going through a replacement sucks, but oh well. End of the day I paid $31 for it. It was on sale for $50.xx and I have a $20 rebate coming to me.

Everything on my build is what I plan to buy...the only key to the puzzle being the processor.

how long do you think you will be using this build? because if you will be using it for a while and plan to upgrade it with a 4690k later on then why not just use a 4690k in the first plce for maximum performance throughout?

I was looking at the G3258 for right now and an i7-4790k down the road...the i5-4690k is a compromise on the price...I can't justify either. I quit my job to go back to school full-time and currently am unemployed. The budget for this is very strict at $800. I'll cut costs somewhere else in the system if the processor needs to be an i5/i7.
