Hi guys at the moment I am really frustrated about my new PC that I put together 10 days ago, and I am first time builder so not that experienced, however I will run you through the issue as the titles shows and the steps I took but did not accomplish anything so far. To start it off here is my computer parts Click Here

After running the PC for 2 days I got warning message like this
color_scheme_error.jpg

Then on the next day my computer froze 3 times where I cant move the mouse, and the only option is to force restart, it occurred when I was on Facebook not even playing. Nevertheless I read the forums and they all pointed toward the Ram sticks, so what I did was firstly to check the voltage and speed which the MOB set them as default, so I just changed it to 1600 and 1.5V. This prevented the message about system performance is low message and no freeze for 2 days, however last night I got BSOD memory dump and again I thought I have problem with my Ram sticks so what I did was run 3 passes of Memtest86 which took 8 hours, and no errors were found.

Now I think my issues is with outdated and not correctly installed drivers of the MOB as I recall I installed MOB drivers from the CD not the website and I missed up some drivers I think. Furthermore when I opened the Device manager saw 2x Yellow exclamation marks like this

for the adapters I removed the original yellow mark but I created these additional 2 and for the other devices I have no idea.

Here is my MOB drivers Click Here my issue I have to idea which one to download/update or even check the current version of that driver, as some of them do not just update like the BIOS and I am not going near that. And when I unzip some of these drivers I get like 2 setup files which confuses me more....

I would really really appreciate your help guys, I said the majority of the things I came across and maybe the action I should take but I might be wrong who knows, if nothing works out I will teach myself how to format and install the MOB drivers from the site rather than the CD

Thank you for your time

P.S
I run CCleaner, Regcurepro, checked for temperature its stable 30, run Kaspersky and Anti malware, run the cmd sfc /scannow and also defragment the disk.

I would get all the latest drivers for your board sorted by date. Being an ASUS board, your can run either the setup.exercise or asussetup.exe, either will work. Pick the x64 folder if needed for setup files, as most likely your using 64 bit windows.

I did this after I posted here, The USB Port 3.0 removed the yellow mark from (other devices), I also uninstalled the 3x Network adapters and installed the LAN driver from Asus, it also removed the yellow marks. So now its normal device manager.

But the way I installed the drivers was simply by clicking the Asussetup.exe that came first and I ignored the x64 folders, or it has to be the asusstepup from the 64x folders?

Also some drivers like the sound gave me the option to modify or remove which means they are installed already but for VGA, BIOS and the SATA when I install them they show me some kind of messages.

For BIOS driver there is no asussetup, is it because I have to boot it from flashdrive etc right?

For VGA I get this

And for SATA

Shall I just wait for next freeze or BSOD? if it does not occur then I am safe and if it does I will come back to this post again

You don't need to run the setup from within x64 folder, it should automatically choose the correct one when running setup. I would leave BIOS alone, unless you continue to have problems (save for last in your case) You don't need VGA drivers either, as your using a GTX 970. Just want to install latest drivers from Nvidia website. The error is because your not using the GPU integrated in the CPU itself. SATA smart connect isn't really need either, it's just software to let your system wake and install updates periodically. It may be showing an install error because the feature is disabled in the UEFI.

I updated the BIOS and Razer Synapse and everything is working fine for a week, and I think its the mouse driver fault.
