Looking for a tower only for 1.) gaming performance only (no video editing, etc) and 2.) reliability in parts:

-Approximately $1300 (US) budget - Tower only
-No overclocking
-No Windows needed
-Want GTX 980
-Want this case: (unless you have a good reason otherwise) Corsair 350D MicroATX Mid Tower Case
-Would like 250 SSD & 1-2 TB
-Buying at the end of September

Enjoy, the 1tb Caviar Black and SSD will ensure all of your data will be written and read fast, the gtx 980 - no need to talk about that, i7 4790 - very nice cpu I have it myself, left 750W so that you can throw in another gtx 980 if you wanted a few years down the road, 16gb for best gaming and multitasking performance.

Yeah, this is a beast :)

If you don't need or want the i7 the i5 4690 is perfectly fine :)
