Hello

It's been a while so I need some guidance. I checked the forums but didn't find a topic on adding a new hard drive for data storage with my existing 250gb SSD.

I picked up a WD black 3tb hdd and just need a walk through on how to set it up/install it to run without issues. I know how to hook it up via data , but do i just plug it all in and fire up windows after making sure the Bios recognizes it? Or??

I use my SSD for OS(win 7 64) and gaming, but I'm out of room for other data/pics/little games on the new drive.

Just want to make sure it goes smooth and wasn't sure if it needed a partition or not and if so a walk through would be hugely appreciated
Thanks !!!

Great thanks. Also do you or anyone else know if and how I can move an entire game file and saved games etc(my kids minecraft game) from SSD to the new hdd? Is this possible for a novice to do without trashing the files or having to reinstall windows 7 64bit? I will if I have to(if the system would perform better and would be easier for me to select where/which files go to which drive. Is it possible? If so, how? Thanks for your help!!
