I have a buddy that just got a Corsair CX600M power supply and I was wondering if it will be ok for it to power up his system without any problems. Don't want it frying later on in the future on him!

His build spec:

i7 3770k
Gigabyte GA Z77x UD3H
16GB HyperX fury 2x4 x2
Evga GTX 960 FTW
1TB seagate

Solution
Quality is an issue with CX series power supplies. It's not likely to fry anything now but it may have a shorter life than you might expect. It has more than enough power for your system.

Like Archaic59 said, it's not a very good psu. It is not a fire hazard though. It is officially enough power, just don't expect it to last very long. I personally would not use it though. The psu is the most important part of your build. He should return it if possible.
