We have a HP Pavillion P6-2103ED system with a MSI GTX770 2Gb. GPU. This GPU card was replaced by an identical GPU because it failed (artifacts). After we installed the new one the system doesn't boot up. This is what we have encountered:

- the HP screen opens where you can hit ESC to enter the starting menu. However the computer doesn't continue booting up on its own and hitting any key makes either the motherboard or the GPU click. Often after this process it does continue to a black screen with a white blinking underscore but nothing can be typed or hit either.
- also 2 of the x times we tried to start the graphics card beeped 6 times but after we reseated it there is only a beep each minute or so

We have tried:
- changing the CMOS battery
- reseating the GPU
- checked the power cables (PSU: CM 550M)

Any thoughts, ideas, tips since the computer can't be used? Thank you in advance!
