Best Data Recovery Software

Hi,

My seagate 1 Tb Hard Disk is filled with Bad sectors owing to which I cannot read any of my important files on the Hard diak. Is thee any way/software to allow me to recover my files almost 100%.

Someone said ECS Pro. IS it worth it? Does anyone know about it?

Hi there nikhil_88,

I doubt that anyone could give you a specific answer to which is the best data recovery software. It will not hurt to just try several one.
Also, you can check out the Ubuntu Live CD approach. Just boot up Ubuntu from a CD or a flash drive and see whether you will be able to access your drive and whether the files would be readable. Check this out: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/267999-32-recover-data-mode
