If you really only want to lurk and dont play too much games or starting to get into games you dont need such an expensive machine...
look up the Eurocom m5 pro and click the first link you see (it doesn't let me paste it here) and customise the laptop to your likings.
I reccomment pretty much sticking with default settings with minor changes such as 16 gb of ram of you feel like it but most importantly upgrade so that you have 1 ssd and 1 hard drive, and the laptop has a promotion of having a 4k screen for free if you feel like it but you dont have to.
