Look for photocopiers, most home ones at least also can function as home printers. I had to scan some family documents too at one point and found mine to be very useful. Not sure on specific model to recommend as I am in the US.

you might need to get an A3 one think most of them only scan up to A4 which is less than 14 inches
i always get epson as cheap compatible ink for them is easy to find
problem is most A3 ones cost a lot more than an A4
heres about the only A3 i can see thats not really expensive
