New Custom Built Pc Running Slow

So a few days ago i buit a gaming computer and everything seemed to be fine but the point is it runs way slower then i think it should be running heres my specs:

Intel core i5-4590 haswell Processor 3.3GHz 5.0Gt/s 6mb lga 1150 Cpu

PowerColor TurboDuo AMD Radeon R9 285 2gb GDDR5 OC

Asrock H97M Anniversary LGA 1150 Intel H97 HDMI 6

crucial ballstix sport 8gb

Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM003 1tb 7200 64mb CA

EVGA 500 B 80 Plus Bronze Certified 500W Active PF

Monitor itself will not impact the performance of the PC itself.

On the other hand, without SSDs, proper installation of the latest drivers for these componets are crucial:

1. Motherboard chipsets
2. Graphics card
3. Network adapter (if there is any)
4. Sound card or sound chip on the motherboard.
5. Other peripherals.

By default, Windows 7, 8.1, 10, or even XP all support most legacy hardware with some basic drivers. If a piece of hardware is released at least few months before the OS is released, there is a good chance that the driver for the hardware is included in the OS itself. The weakest link of your components that have direct impact of performance is the 1TB hard drive. All other components are great and fast. Try to get a SSD and copy the system drive, i.e., C: to the new SSD if the SSD is large enough. You will see significant improvement. I upgraded to SSD about 3 years ago, and there is absolutely no way I'd use a hard drive as the system drive anymore.

thanks for the response your the second person to reccomend in ssd driver to me so looks like thts the option im gonna have to go with is there any chance that it could be my monitor thats slowing me down i use a crappy 19in Philips tv?
