Hello, i need some help to find a way in disabling "Throttling" that causes fps spikes to reduce heat. I have already tried looking in BIOS for "EIST" but its not there, my battery is on "High Performance" and i've also tried the "ThrottleStop 8.0", but non of it worked.

My cpu is: i7-4720

Solution
Any time your CPU reaches 100°C, it will start slowing down (throttling) so the CPU does not exceed this temperature.

Your previous ThrottleStop screenshot showed that this program was still in Monitoring mode. You need to click on the Turn On button when using ThrottleStop.

If you cannot play a game on a gaming laptop without it overheating then I would return this laptop to Lenovo. As a new laptop, it does not need cleaning but the heatsink on the CPU is either poorly installed or completely inadequate. Return it before it is too late.

Why disable the function that stops your hardware from damaging itself. You need to solve the problem in a different way by cooling the system.

The throttling problem that the Lenovo Y510P and Y50 have has nothing to do with heat. Lenovo decided to disable Intel Turbo Boost when the GPU is active such as when gaming. Depending on the game or application you are trying to use, this can significantly reduce performance.

How do you have ThrottleStop setup? This program was specifically designed to help with various throttling problems. Post a screenshot if you need help. It should look something like this.

This program is only recommended for use when you are plugged in. If you are getting poor performance when on battery power, do not use ThrottleStop to try to force the issue. You could end up permanently damaging your battery. They do not make batteries powerful enough to run an Intel Quad Core i CPU and Nvidia GPU at full speed at the same time. They usually both throttle to protect the battery from catching on fire.

i checked the "Disable Turbo" aswell, becouse im afraid it will overheat or smth, i instantly did that after i saw my temperatures being at 100 cels when playing GTA 5. Maybe thats why its still Throttling, i need to be on turbo?

If your CPU temperature is going up to 100C during a game, you need to disassemble your laptop, thoroughly clean it and replace the thermal paste if necessary.

Your CPU is throttling and slowing down while gaming because it is running too hot.

the laptop is brand new, three days old, there is no need of cleaning. But, is the turbo mode necessary to stop Throttling?

100°C is not an unusual temp for a laptop cpu, but it is exactly the reason, why Lenovo may have disabled the Turbo feature combined with the discrete GPU: The cooling system is not powerful enough! That's why the review lists it as con: "Runs hot while gaming" http://www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/lenovo-y50-70-touch
