Hi All,

Please find my current rig config as follows :-

CPU - Intel Core i5-2500k
CPU Cooler - CM Hyper 212
Mobo - Asrock Z77 Extreme 4
GPU - ASUS Nvidia GeForce GTX 550Ti 1 GB
HDD - WD Black Caviar 1TB SATA III
SSD - Samsung EVO 250GB SATAIII
RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GB (2X4GB) 1600MHz
Cabinet - Corsair Carbide 300R
UPS - APC Back-UPS RS1100 VA
Monitor - SAMSUNG 20"LED

As the GPU is heating up a lot lately, I'm planning to upgrade as per the following :-

CPU Cooler - CM Hydro H60 Liquid
Cabinet Fans - Corsair AF140 (x3) = 1-front intake & 2-side intakes (with Silverstone Filters)
GPU - Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti 2GB
RAM - Corsair Vengeance DDR3 8GB (2X4GB) 1600MHz ~ Totaling upto 16GB DDR3 RAM

My question, will my current psu Corsair CX500 support all these additional upgrades ?
If not, what should be the best alternative PSU, keeping the UPS (APC RS1100 VA) unchanged ?

Solution
I would do things very differently.

1. Upgrade your GPU. The GTX750ti uses very little power (65W or so, depending on model). This may solve your issues.
2. Those are good fans, if they do the job, stop there.
3. Hydro H60 is not better enough to spend the money on over the air cooler you have.
4. 16Gb RAM is not needed for gaming and may slow your computer slightly, but got for it if you need it.

If you save enough, you may be able to go to an even better GPU (960 perhaps), which will still run on the 520W PSU I suggested.

At the moment there are no really good PSU deals in the USA. The 520W, semi-modular, Antec HCG 520 is the best, at about $50. It is far superior to the Corsair, as a high-performance PSU.

That is not a very good quality power supply but your not really adding any more watts to the PC so it should work
Your actually using less watts because the 550ti draws 116 watts and the 750ti draws 65.
If this is for gaming I would leave off the liquid cooler and up the video card to a GTX 960 for better performance
