I have most of the pieces for my new build, but I've been going back and forth between getting a 6600k or 6700k and which cooler to do with whichever one I pick. With the 6700k still out of stock and the fact that I don't really need it (my build will be mostly a gaming rig), I've decided on the 6600k.
Now for the cooler. I had my eye on the Dark Rock Pro 3 for a while, but it recently went out of stock everywhere and I don't know when it will be back in stock. Would the Shadow Rock Slim be an adequate alternative? I do plan on overclocking the 6600k so I want to make sure I have a good cooling solution. Is it worth it to wait until the Pro 3 comes back in stock or will the Shadow Rock Slim suffice?
