Here is some readings while my pc is idling.....

Anyway when I play BF4 or Rocket league like 15 to 20 mins in my PC craps out and truns off, No blue screen no freeze just turns off....

It's not a heat issue because under load my cpu gets to like 64 degrees and my gpu stays at around 60 as well, but when it shuts off the red power light on my cooler master case blinks and I have to turn the psu on and off to reset my PC.

Specs:
AMD 8350
MSI 970a g46
Kingston 8 gb ram
AMD R9 280X
Thermaltake TR2 600W ATX
Cooler master haf912

Is my PSU dead? My pc runs idle and browsing fine but games it dont last 20 mins

Was just playing a game for 10 mins or so then my PC hard shut down again but this time I was reading the temps...

The highest it ever got was 75 degress and that was t1/d1+ and CPU temp......

It crapped out at only 75, my comp can handle way hotter, I just dusted off my PC as well so it is like 5 degrees cooler than it was...

Do I need a new fan for my cpu or do I need to get some more thermal paste to see if that fixes it....

Because I know its not temps because 75 is HOT but its not time to shut down the PC at 75.....

I hope its nothing to pricey like motherboard or psu, cpu is easy just get paste and new fan but I don't think its heat....

It's not always a heat issue. The most common issue i have seen cause those kind of shut downs is a weak or failing psu. Failing secondary caps in that low rent psu could very well be causing the shutdowns. Could be the vrms as they are known too get too hot on that board but that usually causes the cpu to throttle.

That is super lame, I had this PC for almost 3 years now, Only replace GPU to upgrade and CPU 1 year in since it crapped out....

Never gave me any problems, I guess my gaming days are over unless I get something pricey, My computer works fine doing school work or browsing the web but I didn't pay $1,000 to have a browsing pc....

I know this build is old, almost 3 years now but man it sucks I have to get out of my way to get a new PSU or redeem a warranty that could take weeks to get back....

75C on the cpu will crash a piledriver cpu.

piledriver cpus temp throttle at 72C, and are VERY unstable at that temp. 75C will certainly temp throttle one. In fact they shouldn't be operated over 65C

so yes, get a new cpu cooler.
