PC black screen after installation of new heatsink

So I have a fx6300 cpu and was using the stock cooler for ages then I decided to upgrade to a cooler master 212 hyper Evo... Installed it no bother thermal compound and everything, followed a tutorial on YouTube, now the pc turns on with q black screen and my mouse/keyboard with no lights on, however the fans in the pc are running fine including the cpu fan and gpu fans... Wondering if anyone can help me, plus I tried loosening the screws on the heatsink and still no luck

Hi Dazzer96 !

could you try to use stock heat sink first ? , see the computer will boot successfully , reseat CPU check pin maybe bent also double check everything
if the computer does not boot anymore with the the original heatsink then try resetting your CMOS .

reset your COMS by taking the battery out . unplug any your power and turn off your PSU . after that hold the power button for 30 sec

after holding for 30 sec , put your mobo COMOS battery back and plug in your power cable , and try powering on .
