Well the title says it, but here is some background:

--I was watching a documentary for my history class, when suddenly the PC just turn off (as if the AC cord was unplugged). I proceeded to try turning on the PC, but it wouldn't respond, it had no effect whatsoever. I checked to see if the PSU switch was set to OM, and if the AC cord was correctly plugged, everything was in order. I opened the PC and inspected the inside, everything was normal. I waited for 2 minutes and tried to turn the PC back on, the CPU fan moved for a split second and stopped, and the PC did the turning on sound, but it immediately stopped. The power switches light works fine, it turns on, but the PC doesn't answer (except some times it does the mentioned above sound and action). I tried resetting the CMOS, as well as taking out the CMOS battery for 5 minutes then putting it back on, but to my dismay, same answer. I have never over clocked a thing on my PC.

I'm desperate to know what happened, or how to solve it. Please help me.
