Core temp reporting CPU speeds of 11ghz

Lol, I think I have the fastest 8320 in the world!

But seriously, I've uninstalled and reinstalled coretemp numerous times and it is by far my favorite CPU monitoring program and i've never had this problem in the past. Seems to be an issue once I went from w7 to 10?

CPU-ID and AIDA64 are both reporting accurate speed of 4.5ghz... any ideas on this?

Amd overdrive is about the only one that will show an accurate reading on their processor. The only other one that should give you a good reading is the software that came with your motherboard if you didn't buy a prebuilt from dell or some other one.

My guess is that the program (Core-temp) is not working properly on WIN10 or just got a bit screwy and the readings aren't changing when you uninstall/reinstall because of the previous reasons/registry/wonky updates.

As long as your temperatures are reading correctly; and other programs that read your GHZ are showing a correct reading... you don't have much to worry about!

your TJ max is a bit weird, I've the same processor and on core temp mine reads 90 not 80. Maybe my TJ max is weird and yours is right but two people with the same processor running the same program and theres a 10 degree difference plus your cpu registers liquid nitrogen needed cooling speeds. Theres a glitch in your system,

I manually lowered it.
Thank you for letting me know that there is a glitch... I had no idea. xD

But in further news, I am now the jebus of overclocking! 14.5ghz steady at 25c! Lmao
